i never said i hated them. I merely asked what you like about the band e.g. fast, heavy etc. I've never got into mcr and just because other people like them dosen't mean i should like them. stop making assumptions, nimrod

I got into MCR from their new stuff, I hadnt heard their first album until I heard their second. Now, I prefer the first, just because its more like the style of music I listen to.

I dont know how else to answer the question "why do you like them"... I dont know why, their music just catches my attention.

You know, this is all getting kinda funny. Its now becoming more popular (at least on the forum) to hate on MCR than it is to like them. Its the minority to like them, so that must make it cool (at least to the people that think that anything this is 'popular' must be bad).

I have a spectacular idea! How about instead of hating on a band, you go and listen to whatever band you do happen to like. Then, come back when you have something good to say!
