Default What do you guys think of the new My Chemical Romance Album?

I didn't get into it the first time I listened to it because I was really in the mood for the hard rock/angry MCR sound. But now that I have gotten that out of my system & have gave it another listen I am really enjoying it. It is very VERY different from their old stuff. But I give it an 8/10.

I've thought about downloading it because the first single didn't sound that bad. Maybe if I'm real bored some day.

Yeah it is a real big change in sound for them. Like I said I didn't like it at first, but I am really enjoying it now.

That nanananana song is really, really bad. I'm probably not going to bother with the album.

I liked it too. Its poppy, its not a pissy little song to be upset to.
I wish all these mainstream rock bands would quit doing the stupid concept album thing and rehashing American Idiot over and over again, getting lamer each time.

So I listened to the album, and I gotta say it was pretty ace. It was a great way to reinvent their sound after TBP. A really good variety of styles too.
It also looks like it's going to be a grower, which is good because I already liked it a good deal on first listen.

Also, was it supposed to be a concept album? I haven't really read into the album, but I wouldn't have guessed it was by listening to it.
