yeah but, on the topic of imagine, it wasn't even john lennon's 60th best composition imo. it doesn't tell one anything about what the real essence of his music was, and i think i also regard it as one of his blandest numbers.

It's a popular opinion.

I cant help but wonder what peoples opinions on the song would have been if it wasn't so popular and held in such high regard for all these years.

I enjoy the song but It's not one of my favourites.
