Stop crying your heart out

I vote for: 'Live Forever'. Great song, and Noel's great ,simple catchy guitar playing.
Remember Travis: "Radio's playing all the usual. What's a wonderwall anyway?" |
The real question is who the fuck are Travis.*
* This is a rhetorical question |
THe B-side 'Talk Tonight' from Some Might Say
Everyone seems to be voting WONDERWALL how boring.
SUPERMOTHERFUCKINGSONIC PEOPLE!
yeah, Supersonic, first song I heard, awesome, Talk Tonight just has something about it though...
Wonderwall.
Champagne Supernova. Songbird. Columbia. Slide Away. Let There Be Love. Haha. I sorta like them a lot. They are amazing. |
My only favourite is their cover for John Cage's 4'33"... ...oh, wait...
 |

Wonderwall Sunday Morning Call Champagne Supernova Don't Look Back in Anger |
I still think they are massively overated. Although DEFINITELY MAYBE is still a brilliant album and has got attitude in spades.
Is it wurf the aggravassssshuun
To find yerself a job when there's nothin' wurf workin' for? It's a crazy situassssshuuun But all I need are cigarettes and alcohol! WIRED! |
It is terrible how Mancs bastardise the Queen's English. ;)
Don't Look Back In Anger but saying that i like loads of theres lol.
Oasis
I remember liking Oasis a lot back in the late 90s. Went to gigs and shiz. But they kinda went crap somewhere down the line. Anyway, while many people might disagree, I think they were a decent pop rock band band back in their time.
What are people's favourite tracks of theirs? |
The first 2 albums were phenomenal and a real shot in the arm for British music. In fact they were so good back then even when they put out a B sides album it was still better than what most other bands put out.
I recently got given stop the clocks for free.
The one thing I remember from both of those albums was that they were remarkably consistent. And in the 90s, with the kind of music I both had access and was exposed to, I found it strange that an album should contain any more than 3 good songs max (the rest filler). So by all accounts, I found Oasis a revelation. And so vastly superior to mostly everything else in the mid-90s Britpop scene.
I think the new work is absolute derivative self-aping bland mechanical effortless garbage. It makes me embarrassed to like them at all. They've broken new ground in the rehashing department, not only repeating their own lyrics in some songs but the exact same melody that went along with the lyrics in the base song. I bloody hope they don't do another album.
Whats The Story Morning Glory, was a good album with Cast no Shadow, Champagne Supernova, Dont Look Back in Anger, She's Electric, all good songs
well, who doesn't love the song Wonderwall, its just so pretty:)
Yea they have some amazing songs. I havn't listened to in depth to them. Mainly just the big ones such as Wonderwall, Live Forever, and Champ Super....
But from what i have heard i like it a lot. note* i do own there newest album from 2005? and its nothing that special |
The first album is killer and is one of my favourite debuts ever. The second has some good and some bad. After that they got themselves into a rut , that they have never really got out with. The B-sides album was good too. Will have to get that I think.

Oasis is lame radio rock
That picture is classic, dude that was hilarious. I am aware that Pantera was completely *** but they were kickass later on. At least Pantera made good music unlike Oasis' garbage soft rock.
Pantera = Nothing more than a band of bandwagon jumpers
