But it certainly gives them good publicity.

I think, with a bit of publicity and some booze, they'll all kiss and make up in enough time to.... shock horror, release a follow up to their current album... Oasis have been and will continue to be a band of torrid relationships that ignite from time to time...

The band thrives off this kind of stuff, they've even released an EP of not music but Noel & Liam just arguing, which is hilarious.

But it still proves my point that the band gets good publicity off their squabbles.

Yeah it was a bootleg recording. It was never released officially. The band have always recieved coverage for their infighting though, the media lap it up.
And to the post that claimed Oasis would be better off with Liam leaving rather than Noel, do you really believe that? The band have carried on with just the one founding member left for the best part of a decade now and whereas they may not have exactly moved mountains they got on with things but I really feel that once McCaroll, Bonehead and Guigs were replaced it wouldn't matter what happened to the line up at that stage the band would continue on aslong as they had Liam and Noel united. Once one of them leaves then Oasis dies. It really doesnt matter which one it is to go. |
