St. Vincent
St Vincent is the name Annie Clark records and plays under (with the help of friends). She has played with The Polyphonic Spree on their album The Fragile Army and in 2006 was a member of Sufjan Stevens touring band. Below is some songage...

i can comment now I have heard the album. excellent stuff and instantly liked it on first listen, I'm probably going to even buy it at the weekend-it's that good. Even if you don't like Polyphonic Spree, this is completely different.

She's pretty solid. Her album "Marry Me" was the first indie album I ever bought.
Anyways, I have immense respect for her and her craft, but I can't listen to her in my own time anymore. I think I might've outgrown her, or I should try listening to Marry Me again. BTW, the title track of the above album is probably the best song on that cd.
