Counting Crowes Indie????

I despise them with a burning passion, but i wont say they lack talent (One of their guitarists was trained by Satch, so i have heard) or creativity, i just cant stand their music in general, especially Duritz's vocals.

EDIT: My bad, i forgot about this being a alternative rock forum too, lol.

Another one of those "healing" bands for me...I was broke..eating raw ramen and listening to ****ty MO rock stations..and the only tape I had was August and Everything After...and I got something from it..something I didnt expect..

I like 'em alot. My favorite track is probably "A Long December". It has sentimental value to me.

They are my favorite band. I think they are everything that a mainstream rock/pop band should be. They are extremely talented, original and have amazing songs. I think people judge them by their singles, but if you listen to their whole first album you might realize that they are one of the best bands out their today.

Who listens to them? Personally I love them, but I can understand how Adam Duritz's gut-wrenching vocal style, and occasioanally corny lyrics could be annoying to some people.

The first three albums were solid, but after that I lost interest. I think I moved on, as opposed to actually giving them a chance.
