Yeah, I've a lot of time for him. "Laughter in the rain", "Standing on the inside", "Sweet 16", all good tracks. Safe perhaps, but still enjoyable. I do like music to say something to me, but sometimes it's nice just to hear a good old pop song that doesn't pretend to be something it's not, and doesn't try to hit you over the head with opinions and views.

Sort of like watching "Die hard", really: switch off brain, engage speakers, enjoy! THEN go listen to some Marillion or Hawkwind (get out of here, Neil!) --- that's Neil from "The Young Ones". Old joke, didn't think it through. Oh well...
