I like her, first of all; though I didn't originally like her descent into "bad girl" or whatever, I think she's starting to master it and is definitely one of the more unique poppy pop artists in the game right now. "Diamonds in the Sky" is whack but "Where Have you Been" pretty much defines the whole radio/club pop crossover scene of late.
Anyway, "Pour it Up" is one of my favorites right now. She does the Houston revival almost better than the rappers trying it at the moment.

I cannot change a song on the radio if it is by Rihanna, I just love her so much. I feel the same way about Beyonce.
I think her song "Stay" really brings out her voice and I love hearing new singles from her. "Pour it Up" is my JAM. I can't stop listening to it!! |

I love beyonce & respect that she writes some of her work, but Rihanna's discography is simply amazing & filled with risk taking that is lacking in Beyonce's works.
Pour it up is my current favorite song. |

Stay
I had sworn off Rihanna after a song so superficial as Rude Boy, but Stay is so beautiful and real. I know a lot of people who don't even like pop music that this song really got to. A lot of cool remix potential as well.
