Once you get past the fact he exists his solo stuff can make organic background noise, quintessential when taking a ****.

I really like it, a much better single than the mediocre-fest that was That's How People Grow Up. Musically inventive? Hells no, but the lyrics make me smile just as much as any Moz song.

There's a naked man, standing laughing in your dreams
You know who is, but you don't like what it means

I love those lyrics, he can switch from self-degrading to cocky so well.
I may have to buy the singles, 2 new b-sides and a live cover of Bowie's Drive-In Saturday, a song i love and would be intrigued to hear Morrissey's take.

Now stop faffing around with best-ofs and get the new album out!

I'll be pleased if it comes this year. Contrary to what i said earlier though i don't want it to be rushed, i want the same lush production of ROTT.
He played a load of new songs on his last tour which i've only heard a couple of times on youtube, dodgy quality sadly. From what i remembered they were glam-rock influenced tunes much like the ROTT singles and Your Arsenal. Nothing really out there, still very band based.
No promises on anything awesome, i'm sure if worst comes to worst it'll be mediocre.

Here's a new one, Something Is Squeezing My Skull on Later with Jools Holland. Mmm, drugs references.

Does everyone here have Sweetie-Pie? It's not one of the best Moz songs but it's certainly one of the most touching.

My thoughts on the new single are simple; Morrissey>The NME.

Morrissey's new studio album 'Years of Refusal' is now complete, and is set for a September release by Polydor UK (Universal). It has yet to be decided which Universal label will release the album in the US.
'Years of Refusal' has 12 tracks and is produced by Jerry Finn.
Prior to this, Sony-BMG will issue a remastered version of 'Southpaw Grammar' in July. This album, first released in 1995, will include three previously unreleased tracks, and new artwork.
In addition to the Cork Festival on June 26th, Morrissey will play a concert at Kilmainham Hospital in Dublin on June 28th.
Also the All You Need is Me single cover how can Morrissey be pushing 50 and still look good shirtless?
