Not quite, Dumont and Kanal were the main songwriters and they along with Gwens brother Eric wrote the majority of No Doubts early work, which of course is their best work, Gwen mostly just did the lyrics. Her songwriting contributions did increase overtime, but thats pretty much around the same time No Doubt lost their appeal. Then she broke up the damn band so she could focus on her
brilliant songwriting, observe.
