I don't know what I find more annoying people coming in here purely to bash an artist or when they come here and go "hey but at least shows hot!"

The whole Japanese "gimmick" thing makes her more interesting.

Are we supposed to only post in the threads about music we like? I'm pretty sure we'd all have a whole lot less to talk about. alright, so her stuff got a little too poppy. no doubt, was never amazing but they werent bad at all. i enjoyed tragic kingdom and return to saturn. now shes just trying to make money like all the rest and it is sad, but that doesnt make her untalented. i mean musically aside... she has stayed married to the same guy for longer than anyone that comes to mind in the celebrity world (esp with her carreer doing so much better than his) and i think that requires quite a bit of talent. doesnt she have kids too?

The pop forum is a bit different because for so long its become the "hey come in here and make five posts bashing easy to attack artists to boost youre ego" kind of forum, so after spending a few hours cleaning it out its extremely annoying when people come in and go "Her music sucks but at least shes hot" really, what does that contribute to the thread at all?

She's not really that bad...Certainly not a great lyricist but her voice is pretty good and the songwritings ok.

I actually consider Tragic Kingdom and Return of Saturn to be fairly good pop albums.

But then theres Rock Steady, what a piece of sh*t that was.
