Twee pop? if BELLE AND SEBASTIAN are an example then count me out. Good pop-check out SAINT ETTIENNE.

I recently discovered the genre and I feel like maybe I shouldn't enjoy it as much as I do... Velocity Girl and The Snow Fairies have been on my tweedar recently, the former isn't so much as "twee", but you could get away with calling them so.

No shame in admitting my love for twee. Field Mice, Aztec Camera, The Pastels and Bearsuit are all getting rinsed atm.

I love them, they bring something different to the twee formula.

Two excellent bands there. Not heard of the other two though.

I love Belle and Sebastian too.

A good majority of my favorite bands are what you'd call twee.

Orange Juice
The Vaselines
Beat Happening
Josef K
Belle and Sebastian
The Pastels
Rocketship
The Field Mice
Shop Assistants
Black Tambourine
Camera Obscura
Talulah Gosh
Heavenly
Tiger Trap
The Softies
The Orchids

^ I've got quite a few of those. Looks like I know more of the stuff than I thought.

I suppose you could call the Television Personalities twee pop (who are excellent as well in case anyone doesn't know).
