Jimmy Ray LOL
I've never heard of#2.
Some Wallflowers would have been nice.
I like Sonny Came Home and some stuff that I used to hate.

poloboy23 05-08-2007 02:23 PM

Check them out, they are all great songs. I'm sure there are a couple on the list that bring back good memories

come on eileen 05-10-2007 12:43 AM

I know it isn't pop but I've been listening to the old 90's R&B songs - they were SO good. Aaliyah, TLC, Ginuwine, Montell Jordan. Those songs bring back some good memories. R&B was at its best in the 90's in my opinion. But as far as pop songs go, Hanson and Spice Girls? My two favorite 90's groups.

yeah, im lame
best 90s song for me would probably be that eagle eye cherry song
cuz its still awesome & i can actually listen to it without wanting to jab my ears out

adidasss 05-10-2007 10:24 AM

It has the exact opposite effect on me...

ladyfordfairlane 05-11-2007 08:25 AM

For as much as I saw Madonna and Spears in there, I'm surprised Cher didn't make the list.

poloboy23 05-11-2007 10:01 AM

Yes, Cher was an influential artist in the 90's but she didnt have that breakout hit that could have landed her on the list.

adidasss 05-11-2007 11:00 AM

Are you kidding me? She practically revived her career with Believe.

poloboy23 05-11-2007 11:06 AM

Eh, I don't know. I never really got into her style of music. I admit she was a legend but "believe" by cher was overrated in my opinion.

adidasss 05-11-2007 11:53 AM

It was one of the biggest hits of the 90's...>.>

holdyoualways 05-11-2007 02:15 PM

Closer - Nine Inch Nails

Not only one of the best pop songs of the 90's, but also one of the most carefully constructed pop songs of the 90's.

Nothing original he's just very very good at what he does. Creating fascinating pop songs.

Damn there is alot of Madonna in the top 50. Yeah she is good, but I dont rate her with some of the great singers of today. someone like Rihanna is going to be a legend. Just the music that she is producing today is extraordinary.
