Jesus christ I hate that pseudo hippy adult contemporary crap.
LOL, i think that song's lyrics are pretty funny. Course they're not meant seriously. But it's a funny idea, isn't it? Put on some new shoes and everything's now perfect! In some way it pokes fun at society because at some extremely materialistic levels of culture, putting on some groovy new shoes WILL actually do wonders! At any rate it's a funny idea. lol. lighten the hell up!

I think NEW SHOES is a great track with a simple but catchy riff and the opener is a belter-however there are a few desperately dreary songs on there, but hey he's 19 and has got quite a promising future, as long as his record company doesnt turn him into a manufactured ballad writer. Let him evolve!

I love Paolo Nutini! I discovered him a few months back, and immediately fell in love with his voice. For such a young kid, he can sure sing, and his old show shines in his vocals. I'm hoping to see him with Amy Winehouse in NYC this summer. ^_^

I saw Paolo Nutini live in June. I remember when Radio One first starting playing Last Request and I thought he was a 70 year old man... how wrong I was. I can't believe a boy so young can have such a soulful voice.

I can't wait for the next album.

Hey is it me, or is “jenny don’t be hasty” the best song Kings of Leon hasn’t written/preformed in awhile?

Jenni and New Shoes are the only worthwhile tracks but they are so feckin good. Why is the rest of the album pants?
