Default Get Up Kids

Yeah, not sure if there is a thread about them, I searched and didn't find one so I am making one.

And i'm also not sure if this thread should be in this forum. Many people classify them as the start of second wave Emo music, but their music just sounds like a mix of 80's punk and indie to me.

But yeah, these kids were amazing, I have Four Minute Mile and Eudora and I recently got Live At The Granada Theatre which was their last show in 2005. But yeah, they've split and have all started several great projects such as: Reggie and The Full Effect, Blackpool Lights and White Whale... plus a bunch more.

Whenever anyone mentions them I think of Swing Kids. Odd thought, them together.

They're ok.

I used to think of Comeback Kid, i've yet to find a band with the work "Kid" in their name that isn't good. Oddly enough, I bought Turn It Around and Live At The Granada Theatre at the same time.

I have some, but my computer lacks the awesomeness to upload them. You could easily find a torrent I bet.

Meh, they are stated as the founders as second wave emo, plus they also had some punk elements to their music.
