AFI or MCR
 

I was wondering if you guys had heard of Aiden. They are an up and coming band that sound a little like both of the bands AFI and My Chemical Romance. They have an EP coming out on Halloween and I think you guys should check em out.

Aiden is makeup wearing garbage with atrocious vocals and trite lyrics. They deserve to die.

why the hell would you want to try and promote people to listen to this band, you should be starting a thread to warn people to stay well clear, the stuff aiden produce is shockingly bad.

I think their last three albums has done that for them.

Comparing afi & mcr is weird, but bringing aiden into the picture is just plain stupid.:usehead:

It still doesn't make any of these bands sound alike, the only thing they have in common is their image.

Aiden is one of the worst freaking bands in the world theyre a cheap rip off of my chemical romance and they might as well be the "goth glam" version of fall out boy the only thing theyre missing is their pete wentz

Yah, Aiden is definitely nothing like those two bands. I don't even really like any of those groups but nonetheless, that comparison was pretty weak.

AFI over MCR everyday of the week.

Although live, MCR is AFI's equal (more or less).

I personally think MCR is one of the worst bands ever. AFI is a great band but their latest stuff (December Underground) isn't as great as some of their previous work.

I would say MCR because when I saw them live, I absolutely loved it over the performance I saw by AFI. The albums for both may not be so great but their live performances are what I mainly look for.

MCR sucked when I saw them, AFI was amazing.

^ I will agree with you that a couple of times they have not been good performance wise but other times, I have seen some amazing shows.

I'd say MCR because I havent listened to AFI much and couldn't nreally comment. Plus I did actually really like MCR at one point, then they just got boring.

AFI definently, I've started to love some of the songs on DecemberUnderground. It's definently not their best album but there are a few enjoyable songs.
