RockStar: Supernova
 

this is a show I started watching about a month ago with my boyfriend.
me and him have come to an agreement about who should win.
Most of them should just stick to singing in bars.

Dilana I think is the oldest, and the most of a rocker then the rest.
I think Dilana will win because she seems to be getting along with the band the most.
She doesn't have a amazing voice but she has more of the steriotypical rocker look and style with her vocals.

Lukas seems to be the most annoying one on the show.. which really sucks because he's canadian and canadians have a habbit of voting for other follow canadians even if there **** and are over the top creepy ugly. he has a good chance in winning because he has a high vocal range. But his voice actually sucks.

Magni has that annoying look.. like the lead singer from cold.. only more healthy looking.. either way he can sing pretty good.. but he just doesn't have that good stage perfmenace.

Patrice also has a good voice.. only she has more of a pop sound.. she is good on stage.. but the fans/tv watchers don't seem to like her and keep putting her in bottom three.

Toby.. well what to say about this guy.. hmm well until last night I didn't even notice him in the house... until during a show he ran around naked to get a song.. anyways after words I realized he is the best looking.. but well there's a reason i never noticed him.

Storm seems to be Tommy's favorite.. but yea.. she has a man like voice when she tries her best to sing.. sometimes she can sing good.. but she's too man for me.

ryan (might have ryan and toby mixed up.. meh) is annoying.. he has that emoish look to him.. and always makes these freaky looks into the camreea.. most times he pays no attention to the people around him when he is perforuming.. and just stands there starring into the cam... I think if he gets any higher then he is.. its because girls will vote for him cause he's half good looking.

anyways lukas sluts.. and canadians shouldn't just vote for the guy cause he's canadian..

and I can say this cause I'm a canadian.. and I've noticed this ****. by the way I'm not saying all.. just some.

anyways who do you want to win?
do you even watch the show?
what do you think of it?
do you think the band will suck either way?

I personally think the band will suck bad.. the band members are washed up bits of crap.. I do believe they even know it.. I don't understand why they just don't let the poeple in thwe house pick any song in the world to sing.. rather then only getting to pick out of a few.. its really ****ty cause they never get good songs to choose from.. I've heard like 5 different nirvana songs, and radiohead songs.. its so stupid.

My vote goes for Dilana because she's the only one who constantly brings a performance worth watching, and seeing her perform with SuperNova just seemed right. I believe she will win.

I don't particularly like the show because it's outdone after one season. Last years was good, but it's overdone now.

And yes, I don't think the band will sound anything like something I want to listen to. But time will tell.

i like both lukas and dilana. dilana is always worth watching; shes a born performer and her costumes are bad ass. lukas, on the other hand, is homeless and still manages to look great and keep an air of "im better than you" about himself, which is hysterical.

well lukas isn't really homeless now.. seeings how he is living in the house will all of them..
I find hom annoying..
he's always on et Canada.. sucks too.. because its sad that that is all canada has to offer.

i like him just the same. its just the fact that he was a bum and yet still keeps that air of arrogance about him. youd expect rich people to be snobby asshols like that, not a bum. he makes me smile.

I thought Dave Navarro was an idiot for cheating on Carmen Electra, then I heard it was with Jenna Jameson and I understood.

As for the show: It SUCKS

i just hate him because it just seems like for every song he sings from every band.. its like he doens't change it at all to make it more fit his personality.. to make it more him really.. like the most of them do. He just seems to TRY and sound like the "Nirvana, Radiohead, etc.." and I think he's copied his flamerness from Queen and Daviod Bowie.. he just seems like a fake.. its also weird seeing someone that ugly have that much confidence. just saying haha.. not that being ugly has anything to do with anything.

When I thought tv couldn't get dumber this popped up.

I know what you mean.. and I normaly would never watch a show like this.. but hell even though I know I will more then likely not like the band with whomever they choose.. I still can't help but watch the show.. its like its so stupid and annoying its addicting. Like the first season of Big Brother, and Surviver.

Haha it's not addicting, I watch it with my mother, but I mean, how can you call it a supergroup when the best member of the band will be the new vocalist?

i dont care who wins, not gonna watch it. I was flipping through the channels the other day and saw it on and went right passed it...


what i do hope happends though, is that the REAL supernova (who i will be seeing play tomorrow night!!) wins the lawsuit they have against these guys....

I bet that when 2007 comes and they come out with there album of whomever they've choosen to be there lead singer.. will leave the band and start solo..

as my boyfriend was saying.. the only one worth getting any attention for being a good musican is Dave Navaro, and he's not even in the band, he's just hosting.
All the band members are just washed up.
my bet is there just going to be the next VR, you know the old members of GNR, and well they'll have a hit then be forgotten.
wait one of them is an old replacement for the first guitarest of GNR.

yet I can't help but watch and wait and see.
the fun in watching is knowing there going to be a one hit wonder.

I hate how stupidly generic they all try to sound...they're all soo fake and retarded..they all try to sound the exact same way..and they do the same stuff on stage..they are soooo cliche "RAWKER!"

The show is very cheesy but i'll download the album to see what it's like when it comes out.

I thought the muscians associated with this one were going to make better music than that Ted Nugent, Sebastian Bach et al ****.

I like how the house band is many times better than the actual 'Supernova' band.

They all come across as morons on that program, and I'm not talking about the contestants.

Tommy Lee and his big gay "oh dude you just gave your most killer performance, you know...I'm like, totally in awe of you dude".

what i don't understand about the show is.. and what I think should be changed is..
dave navaro giving his comments and saying wether or not he likes a performance or not.. why? because it has an effect on how the voting goes.. and well its not his band.. some times influence can be good.. but not when its for someones band that should be a lasting thing.

also I think the singers should be able to pick any song by any band in the world.. I don't agree with the 3 members only giving them a few songs to choose from, because they always give them ****ty songs. It just goes to show that there looking for a singer thats willing and will play and sing crapy pop/rock music.

which is why the band will be loved fast, and forgotten even faster.

The Supernova faggots don't choose the songs they sing because that's not how TV works.

then enlighten us and tell us how it works

Mr Reality Television Mark Burnett and the producers pick out popular songs which everyone will know so they get good ratings.

well that does make sense.
but either way there only going to make and lose a fan base fast.
this band is clearly not going far, I don't give them long before one of them ends up in rehab.
and Lucy, a big fan are we?

Can't say I have heard the band before. In terms of their previous bands, no I am not.

aside from GNR, I can't blame you.
I really disliked those other bands.

so in the house the interviews go well.
I think Dilana will get something said to her because of her saying so mnay names.
Lukas will be looked upon for not saying anything.
and the rest did ok.
But as we learned in that eps.. almost everyone in the house is annoyd by lukas.
which leads me to think that he will get 3rd or 2nd runner up in the connest.

last night during the performances Storm did a kick ass job..
And magni did alright.. but he seems to stick to nirvana to much.

Partrices song was more up beat and happy.
While Ryans was more rock, and sad.. on the sexual side.
I personally think both there songs sucked... but Ryan clearly knows the Supernova sound more then Patrice does.

Dilana did a good job consider in the house the night before we were watching her losing her voice.. unable to hit those notes. but she pulled it off and did a alright job... I personally think the band will always put her up and never down cause they already know they want her to front there band.

Toby did a good job this week, I noticed him at least. But I think that its going to be him Patrice, and either Lukas or Magni in the bottom three come tonight.

I think that storm will get the uncore... and maybe dilana becuase I think the tv veiwings have a attachment for her becuase its clear that the band really likes her.

Alright so last night in the bottom three was

Magni
Patrice
and
Toby

And i think even Patrice new she was going home after being in the bottom three 4 times. The fans were trying to say something.

After the way Dilana was getting on inside the house during interviews.. I don't think she'll be winning.. but I still think she will go far. Come next week I bet she'll be in the bottom three.

Finally Ryan Star is gone home.. THANKS GOD!
And now i've taken a notice to Toby and it seems so has the band.
my boyfrined thinks Storm in the next to go, but I think and hope it will,be Lukas.
Yesterday was Storms first time in the bottom three same goes for Dilana.
But I think if they got rid of Ryan Star then they'll be getting rid of lukas too.
Lukas is more pop then anything... is just trys to copy vocals.
Anyways can't wait to watch all three eps next week.

I want Magni to win. He's much more solid than anyone else.

Judging by this weeks performance, on and off stage, Magni should win.

He's the second strongest Vocally and the Strongest Emotionally. And a really nice lad.

I'm not sure who I want to win out of Storm, Dilana and Magni.
I think Toby is a sweet guy but his vocals just aen't amazing.
Dilana has a good female rock voice.
My fear is that Lukas will win, but after watching last nights ep. he was shocked that Ryan got sent home I think because hes thinking he could be next.
Why? cause they have pretty much only said nice things about Ryan until they sent him home.
but the band really seems to like Magni and Dilana and Storm like they seem to have these friendships with then..
So in the end I think its down to the three.
but I'm still worried about Lukas and I will pray.

He's not as bad as you make out.
He would do well fronting a band like My Chemical Romance or The Used...

Toby is a strong vocalist but I can't see his voice working out for the band.

I think the Final Episode will be Dilana vs. Magni.

Well that's what I hope, Anyway.

I'm rather enjoying the new growing popularity for Magni..
I hope he has a good chance.
To bad it took so long for a friendship to grow with him the band mates.. but then again Lukas doesn't have that.

Yea they do, I agree.
I wouldn't by or even download there album when it comes out.
I just like the show and whatever.
I want to know who they will choose.
But I know I won't no matter who they pick like the band.. they will just be a one hit wonder generic rock band.

Alright so another week has gone by.
Storm is gone home.. this makes me sad.
I thought for sure this time Lukas or Dilana was gone.
I've lost my liking for Dilana, she seems to talk to much, plus shes way big headed.
I think its going to come down to Magni and Toby.
I don't think they actully like lukas. I just think there keeping him for so long because the fans are keeping him there.
I think the band has taken a strong liking to Toby and Magni, even if thats only taken place over the past two weeks.
They really loved Storm and even cried during her last perforumnce.. which was a clear sign she was leveing... I think she new it too.
It sucks that Storm has gone because she has such a rock voice.
The band really seemed to like her a lot.. but I guess the fans just didn't want her.

my personaly thoughts.
I think band is thinking to much about what the fans want rather then whats better for them and there band.
they are clearly in it for the money if there so worried about what the fans want.. cause well fans will buy the cds and tickets..
I think they should worry more about what they like, and who they like and get along with most.
there going to end up chooseing someone.. there band won't go far and thenth eband will break up after three years of pormising a new and great record.
