Default Shakira

Indeed, Shakira might be my favourite mainstream pop musician in this present day. She has been around for quite some time releasing albums in the spanish language for the last 15 years. Of course we all know her well known hit "Whenever, Wherever" off her first album mixing english sung lyrics with spanish, Laundy Service. Recently she released her first all english sung album Oral Fixation, Vol 2 which was the follow up to her all spanish album Fijación Oral Vol. 1. Check It.

Youre an interesting guy hiu. I know you like lots of great 80s hardcore punk music, yet you still like pop music like Shakira - two genres that couldnt really be more different. Very cool.

Ive only heard Whenever Wherever. Its an enjoyable enough song.

I like variety. No point in listening to that same sort of thing all the time.

I think shes one fo the better artists making music today because Shakira's Shakira, not Madonna, Pat Benetar, or Micheal Jackson.

She has a sound, a vocal styling and an ability to write good lyrics. I think shes better looking that 90% of the **** they dress up to be attractive. I don't know, its hard to knock Shakira for anything.

That's silly. Music is subjective, the quicker elitists like me realise it the better.

Love shakira, she's just different(in a good way), and she's a hellof a good belly dancer, one of the best! Plus, she keeps coming out with more songs to love and dance to

I got turned on to Shakira around '96 while at college. A Mexican friend of mine gave me copy of Pies Descalos (sp?) and I loved it. Her Spanish language stuff is way better.

I actually like her, maybe it's my affinity for any catchy song in a foreign language. But she can dance like no other and she can sing well, and it brings me great joy watching people trying, and failing, to dance like she does.
