What the hell are you on about? As if they're TRYING to be better than fecking Beethoven..you know - you're going a bit far there. They use it because it sounds right in their music not because Beethoven was 'great' and he used a violin. Get real.

Yellowcard even classifies themselves as emo. They are by far an emo band over any other category.

I really like them, I just saw them in concert and they put on a really good show, the new CD is pretty good, "only one" and the last track (forget what its called at the moment) are my faves

this one's for the kids is a rad album to.....but they evolved alot with ocean avenue..they made the violin flow alot better on the new album......ocean avenue is a great song and way away

Great older Yellowcard song is Time Will Tell...has a Goldfinger sound to it...kinda ska, punk, and emo at the same time...its the song that turned me onto them
