All I've heard of Hall & Oates is Daryll (sp?) Hall's appearance as a guest vocalist on Elvis Costello's 'the Only Flame In Town'. The song's ok. Hall's got a good voice, I'll give him that

Default H2o

One of my favorite Hall & Oates is the H2O album and my favorite song because of the girl it makes me think of is Kiss On My List, but One On One is cool too.

I'm curious about Hall & Oates. Is there any record in particular that anyone could suggest to me?

Still one of my favorites duos from the 80s. I bought the live video from their Maneater tour. Great musicians. I got to play in a H&O tribute band yrs ago. Alot of fun. But Hall stole his vocal schtick from Todd Rundgren who produced at least one of their earlier 70s albums.

If you want to hear some good albums try anything from the 70-80s especially:

H2O
Private Eyes
Big Bam Boom
Abandoned Luncheonette- earlier 70s work

Private Eyes was my favourite song from them. I always forget which one is Hall and which one is Oates. Whichever one is the darkhaired one, he looks like a guy I used to know. I mean, EXACTLY like a guy I used to know.

There's a Best Of out there, with not a duff track on it. 'Out of Touch' is probably my favourite track.

I did not know them that well but always thought they were talented. Then I randomly won a 2 disk set of all their hits and I was blown away. Tons of great tunes and a lot of songs are great that I did not previously know where their tunes. Songs from way back that I recognized but didnt know the artist. Cool group.
