I'm not a big fan of Hall & Oates in general, but I think "Maneater" is a surprisingly good pop song. Of course, it's from my childhood so there's probably a huge nostalgic element to it.

They made the elusive use of "that" popular way before Meatloaf showed up. I dig me some Oats.

I like some of their 80's stuff as it was around when I was growing up and it is likeable enough.

Maneater.
I Can't Go For That.
Method Of Modern Love

are all perfectly respectable MOR tracks. Nothing spectacular but listenable.

I'd like to think they are both on some tropical island staring at the ocean and clinging their Pina Colada filled glasses, with very satisfied smirks on their faces.

I reject the whole concept of Hall & Oates to be honest.
