They are kind of something corporate-ish, only yeah, like you said, less whiny. Also, I find the vast majority of something corporate's stuff really boring, and I actually like most of the songs i've heard so far. good find.

jacks mannequin is also one my favorite bands. "la la lie" is my favorite song. thanks to the dear angie for introducing them to moi.
