I'm not super big into hip hop, but I'm certainly open to it. My roommate showed me Good Kid M.A.A.D. City and I absolutely loved it. The whole end of that album is incredibly moving. So I was pretty stoked for this album, and I have to say it didn't disappoint.
I just really, really appreciate Kendrick as an artist. His lyrics are very honest and interesting, and it really makes you think about things you might not otherwise have considered. And the music to the songs themselves is fantastic. All in all, I think it's an excellent album and I can't wait for the next. |
