Oh, if you remove the 'E' in Lorde, it becomes 'lord', if you do the same with the title it becomes 'Pure Heroin'. BOOM.

She's not fake, trust me. I knew about her a long time before American's did and she was found by a record label initally and took a while to release her album. I love it, especially Glory and Gore!

To be honest, I have family where she goes to school and we had her on our radio for a year. We waited quite a while before she finished her album and at that point American's caught on to her Royals song. It's pretty amazing because she's the only Kiwi that has had a number 1, let alone many consecutive weeks!

Man, it's another one of those dumb pop acts that the hipsters who are trying to convince everyone they're not hipsters get behind and claim are really good, in the hopes that everyone will see them as open minded people who listen to everything.
I've heard some of Lorde's stuff, it's contrived. I have no interest in it.

Last year it was Carly Rae Jepson and Fun.
This year it's Lorde and HAIM.

Lorde's great. She's so young. I can see her still big in 20 years. Her music is different. Different is good.
