Liking his music isn't an admittance that he actually is god.

I'm not a fan of Kanye West at all, and never would have even given this a listen if not for the fact that Goofle recommended it in this thread, but after one spin through I have to say that I've enjoyed this more than any of his other releases. The idea of this as his "gritty" album or whatever is kind of funny since it still has that same sterile, hermetically-sealed production style as his other albums, but here it works for me though because it has a little more bite than previous releases. I like most of the music here quite a bit actually, I just wish he wasn't the one rapping over it. Or at the very least I wish he didn't put his voice so damn front-and-center in the mix. If I can eventually learn to ignore that, I could definitely see this album becoming a grower for me.

I never said that, I'm saying he can honestly get away with it because he's Kanye fucking West. Sort of how South Park has every right to be as blasphemous and over the top as possible simply because it's South Park.

funny thing about today, the internet has made it possible to be unbelievably butthurt without having to leave your chair

case in point, this comments section here

it only gets more vulgar from there

Thanks man

And the only thing stopping me from giving it a 5* is some of his rapping.
