I am God reminds me a lot of a song called Black God by SpaceGhostPurrp, whos also very industrial gritty sounding like this whole album. HMMMMMMMMMMMM. Im watching you Yeezy.
its a concept project, not everyones gonna love it. The beats are grimier and the vocals are heavily processed, thats they way he intended it to be heard.

It's odd...not really what I expected. Which is good. I just feel like his lyrics have not involved much since his last album. The beats were interesting, using some new techniques there. And bringing a lot of energy which is nice to hear from all of the pretend laid back **** on the radio now a days.
Not as good as his last album and it seems like a lazy effort actually with only 10 tracks and very short. Overall I give it a 3, I just feel like he could have done better.. This album to me was a statement that 'I cant put out whatever and you will still buy it'. Just would have liked to see more direction and more length.
I think ill end up loving it but am still on the fence for now. Ill probably be the only one, but i probably wouldve liked it to be more pompous and arrogant. Not sure why but i love the fact that hes self proclaiming himself as a god. Pretentious music is best music i say

I've got no idea where these 5/5 ratings are coming from. The guy is playing around just to pass time and make some cash, it seems. It's clearly fun for him, though, which is cool. Almost all of the songs are boring as hell though.
Oddly, some of his best-ever raps are on this album but they are few and far between (never was a very good rapper, but he's obviously got some skill in that department). Almost all of the beats suck but there a few gems thrown in there and some surprisingly good moments pop up throughout the album.
This shit literally reminds me of old Ween tapes that were made by two kids getting drunk, huffing glue and playing with a tape recorder. This album sounds like West getting drunk and high on MDMA and playing with million dollar equipment.
