What can I say, I'm a critic. It's just I haven't clicked with it first time around. But I did enjoy Blood On The Leaves.

The production on this is amazing. New style, very hypnotic listening to this. Kanye is not gonna blow people out the water with lyrics everybody knows that. Unique rhyme tempos due to the oddness of the tracks.
Overall man I love this album. and I don't really like Kanye that much but I gotta tip my cap to him with what he brought to the table here |

Are you kidding? The production is near flawless and absolutely brilliant, and the album gives probably the most insane look into the mind of an egotistical, self-centered maniac in the history of music. It's a fascinating record and it might be his best.

after acouple more listens and just paying and giving it undivided attention. I can say in my opinion this is his best CD. The tracks are unique, like I said before the Production is incredible. and listening to the album as a whole outlook. his track order and just songs really gave me like a glimpse into his world. its a very hypnotizing album. I hate to say this but this might be some of the best stuff i've heard this year.better than GKMC? nahh I can't put him in that category but this album is incredible

I really enjoyed this, it had this dark and angry passion behind it that really got me fired up and ready to f*ck sh*t up. The rawness and frankly some of the ugly sounds really pumps you up, it's really reminiscent of Death Grips for me, and while people think that may be a bad thing I'm totally cool with more hip hop artists exploring this sort of dark and gritty production style with confrontational lyrics/rapping.
I know some people were turned off by the lyrics and how egotistical they can be, but there's just something I enjoy about Kanye when he's cartoonishly egotistical like this, there's just this part of me that likes hearing outlandish claims of power and might from people in this sort of proclaiming "you will accept me as a deity!" way. Overall, I gave it a 4, I felt that the briefness(this was his shortest album) sort of was a detriment and he could have really fleshed out the sound and tone of this release, but he got a number of things he wanted to say across, and I really liked what I heard. But yeah, you can tell this is a release that's going to have people divided, even the longtime Kanye fans.

I gave it a 4 also but having the album be short and to the point was actually a bonus in my eyes so we don't have to deal with all the filler. It was great and succinct.
