Well this album quickly fell out of rotation for me. Its good, but that's the problem: it's just good. Which by yeezy's standards is well...bad. There are a few tracks that I really dig, but overall I would say this is a forgettable album by an artist who has released three of my favorite albums of all time.
Wholly disagree with this. He already released his defining album in 2010. That isn't to say he will never make anything better, but I don't see how Yeezus is more 'important' than MBDTF |

Kanye just wanted to continue his statue as the "innovator" in hip hop and the thing that was picking up the most speed was the industrial stuff of hip hop. He is kind of like the Beatles who bandwagoned on Psychdaleicicicicicic ****. But once they bandwagoned, they mastered it. Did Kanye master industrial hip hop? I don't think so. Its good but its no...............(place someone here).

There are bigger problems in the album than that, I think, if we're going to be analyzing his lyrics and references.
Such as the ones referring Parkinson's. |
