![]() On a more serious note, “Random Access Memories” reminds me more of cocktail party music than EDM. This in a way kind of makes sense since the robots are at this stage of their lives wealthy, sophisticated middle aged men and RAM surely reflects that. I can see how this album would be appreciated by some of their longtime fans…I mean all people who used to party ‘till the break of down listening to Homework back in ’97 (16 years ago!) are probably living very different lives now. To those people probably a mellow album like RAM could better represent their current lifestyle and mindset. However if you’re looking for a vigorous and innovative dance /electronica album, you will be disappointed.
