Default "Purple Rain" by RimeS

RimeS is an underground rapper who has over the past year, very steadily gained popularity. He claim's he is here to save Hip Hop, and I must admit, he just might be able to do that. He hit the Hip Hop scene with his "Sick Ice Cream Paint Job Freestyle" video on YouTube, which now has about 2 million views. He has most recently released his mixtape "Purple Rain" with features from Zay, Pries, and a few others. I must say, I think the guy has great potential & that he is going to do big things in the rap game.

Here below, Is the link to his mixtape. Please take a listen, and let me know what you think.

I think someone else may have released an album called Purple Rain too. Hmm... I wonder who it could be.

OMG NO WAY DUDE!? I think this is the first time in the history of music that someone releases a mixtape/album with the same name that was previously used by other artists..... unbelievable.

Yeah, I'm sure it's in no way trying to capitalize on an extremely famous album of the same name. Just like I'm sure you have no connection to the person who released it.

If you actually take a listen to the mixtape, and afterwards still think that he was trying to capitalize on the same name, then it's fair to say that your brain is the size of a peanut.. if that. Now let's end it at that. I wanna actually hear some people's opinions on him.

Haha... just to add to the unoriginality here, LeAnn Rimes even did a horrible cover of the extremely well known Prince song "Purple Rain" from the famous album of the same name.

Leann Rhymes song "Gangsters Paradise" was a pretty decent grunge album in the '80s.

Just to further confuse people, I did a review of the original classic album in my journal here recently... http://www.musicbanter.com/members-j...ml#post1272396
