![]() ![]() The Sword - Apocryphon Released October 22nd 2012 Razor & Tie records Heavy Metal/Stoner Metal/Hard Rock 1. "The Veil of Isis" 2. "Cloak of Feathers" 3. "Arcane Montane" 4. "The Hidden Masters" 5. "Dying Earth" 6. "Execrator" 7. "Seven Sisters" 8. "Hawks & Serpents" 9. "Eyes of the Stormwitch" 10. "Apocryphon" .............................................. 11. "Arrows in the Dark" (Live) 12. "Barael's Blade" (Live) 13. "The Chronomancer II: Nemesis" (Live) 14. "Ebethron" (Live) 15. "Cheap Sunglasses" (ZZ Top cover) Long since evolved from simply a stoner rock/doom metal band since 2006s Age of Winter, The Sword are back with their fourth album in six years. I had been wondering what it might sound like, as I find it difficult to foresee exactly what direction they are likely to take any more. The first track from the album was made availble to listen to today, however, and first impressions are pretty good. Song Premiere: The Sword Headbang in 'Veil of Isis' | Music News | Rolling Stone |
