Default David Byrne & St. Vincent - Love This Giant (2012)

Been giving this a listen. I love St. Vincent, but have never heard of David Byrne. It's definitely a great collaboration though. They both sound distinctly in-sync with each other.

Favorite track:

Certainly a great track. You need some Talking Heads in your collection David Byrne is a fantastic vocalist.

Wow...you don't know who David Byrne is? Crazy.

Go listen the Talking Heads albums 77 and Remain In Light like...now.

I'n not too fond of "older" music. I appreciate it, but I don't listen to it much. He sounds great in this album though.

I take back "Who" being my favorite track.

This is my favorite:

This records funky.

Talking Heads music is timeless. If you like Love This Giant, you will certainly like some Talking Heads. If it's "older music" you are worried about, I'll take back 77 and replace it with Speaking In Tongues. So Remain In Light and Speaking In Tongues. Get on it.

And if I refuse, sir?

You'll be missing out on awesome music from a seminal art punk band. It won't really affect me...but it's always a shame when that happens.

Love This Giant truly is a blend of St. Vincent and David Byrne's styles...so if you like it I would seriously be surprised if you didn't like either of their individual albums.

He might even be able to get by with their greatest hits compilation. I love every album so i'm biased but the greatest hits is a nice piece of music history.

I was extremely disappointed by this album seeing as I am a huge fan of both Talking Head and St. Vincent. The songs were quite poor and I hated the horns.
