Just about the best way to scare off the bro-hipster Pitchfork crowd short of actually making something interesting. Anticipating a 6.8-7.2 and a sweet return to obscurity for Mr. Pink with about 75% fewer on-stage temper tantrums and about 100% less coverage. Also can't wait for the reactionaries to carry this as some sort of superior evolution from the last one.
Indicative of this album's quality that the cultural and "political" implications of the release are more fun to discuss. 5/10 |
