Real and boring. I don't give a **** about honesty if you're sitting home on Friday night and eating microwave pizza. Have something worth rapping about.

Ironically it seems to be the same people hating on this album as Good Kid Maad City and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
I don't find that to be mere coincidence, I think there's an active 'This album is bad because it contains mainstream crossover capability and is popular' brigade going about. Me, personally. I think all 3 albums are great and I am not alone in that regard. |

no, I am pretty positive there are ulterior motives. Perhaps as a way of looking down at such music to favour the more obscure.
If you knew you didn't like that particular brand of music; why listen? Surely it wasn't just to criticize something you already had pre-conceived notions about. I don't particularly like metal, but I don't **** on every new release that gains a bit of media hype. |

So when you write in your journal that you prefer some album I've never heard of over Dark Side of the Moon, does that mean you have an ulterior motive of looking down on popular music to favor the more obscure? Quote:
And? I do like hip hop and I don't shit on every new release that gains a bit of media hype. What's your point? |

There is no crossover potential for Kanye, he is the epitome of mainstream Hip Hop, especially in this time for Hip Hop.
