Evanescence - Evanescence
Sorry if i misspelled the name, i can never get it right.
I'm only halfway through the album right now but I think it is absolutly amazing. Ive only found two songs that I didn't care for or got boring. I think this is much better than her past work. I was Skeptical about this album since it took such a long time to come out but I see now it was worth it. |

I can't stand Evanescence. Essentially, they're a very very generic rock band that threw up an operatic singer as a gimmick. There are a lot of good bands that employ opera elements to their music, Evanescence is definitely not one of them.

I actually love Evanescence, they are what got me into music in general. I don't listen to them so much nowadays, but I play their music every once in a while. This album, however, is their worst one. All the songs are so-so, and two are even horrible (and I say this as a fan). I only really like one or two songs on the album. Maybe it will grow on me.

They were trying a different sound this time around, hopefully by the next album they get over this phase and go back to the darker music. I still think Evanescence is one of the best bands in today's rock music
