This is an awesome effort from Evanescence for their third studio album. I was really hoping to hear more of the electronic/trip-hop vibe Amy had talked about in interviews before the album was released, but I was satisfied with the album as a whole.
New Way To Bleed, Swimming Home, Lost In Paradise, Secret Door, The Change, and the live version of Disappear are the best. I'm hoping for a drastically different 4th album from Evanescence, though... This one had a bit too much belting and was a bit too heavy for what I feel like Evanescence should sound like. |
