^^ I think you have an unhealthy obsession with this band. Let it go...

I know. I've quadrupled in weight since I first heard them, my girlfriend left me when I started writing angry internet reviews of them, and my six pack has completely disappeared. However, I think that this band disgrace my country, and having devoted my life to working hard for a future without living in fear on hearing the brain numbing remixes of "Clocks", I am very unlikely to stop.
I wish I could. Pray for me.

Brian Eno produced and played on a lot of great stuff in the 1970s (David Bowie, Roxy Music, Talking Heads and Devo to name a few along with his solo stuff) But since then he`s been very hit and miss and its sad to see a once great talent wasting his time with a band as dire as Coldplay.

You aren't missing much. If you did, you'd find that "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" is exactly the same song as "Where The Streets Have No Name". And the rest are pretty similar, too.

I do not care what anybody says, U2's "Bullet the Blue Sky" is one of the best rock songs ever written... apart from that song though, I find them to be pretty lame. Had they writen more songs like Bullet... though, I would praise them more.

That's interesting.... if someone intelligent likes one of their songs, I might go out and download it. I haven't heard "Bullet in The Blue Sky" for a while (I usually snap the radio off as soon as they come on), but I may try again with a more open mind.

By the way, was anyone else annoyed to read Neil McCormick's review that Coldplay "sound like Radiohead with Paul McCartney as a frontman"? Coldplay are essentially an amalgum of all the worst elements of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Oasis, U2 and the Beatles. Of course they do.

studio version:

and the Rattle and Hum version, which is amazing as well.

Great song. As I say, wish they did more along the lines of this one.
