Sometimes I question what's going through the minds of you pollsters. How is it balanced to have 3 "above average" choices, one "average" choice, and one "below average" choice? A fair poll should have either a 1-1-1 spread or a 2-1-2 spread.

ex:
Excellent
Good
Mediocre
Poor
Terrible

qft.

I found it to be mediocre. Did I Let You Know and Rain Dance Maggie are great tracks, but other than that, it doesn't even begin to compare to stuff like Californication.

I'll be honest...I haven't listened to it, but if Stadium Arcadium was any indication, I doubt I'll be all that interested. By the Way was their last masterwork, and I think they are just coasting now. Not that this is bad...these guys have had a ton of comebacks while most bands usually can't even hope for one.

Unless someone convinces me this album is pure gold, I doubt I will be too motivated to check it out.

Each of their albums sound mega different, but I still reckon they are great in their own way

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

Not their best but not their worst either. I actually like this album quite a lot.

I think Stadium Arcadium ranks as one of their best works, and it's not typical that a double album can keep my attention all the way through. I think the RHCP are one of those rare bands that have gotten better with each release even after almost 30-years... with the exception of "One Hot Minute."
