I'm going to go ahead and day on his behalf... that he has ghost writers on a lot of stuff. And regardless of whether he writes 0% of it or 100%, it's lyrically empty, and the puns and metaphors are eye-roll worthy every time.
BUT I saw guitarist Guthrie Govan on the Carter credits... and I *need* to hear whatever track has Guthrie going on. It could (and that's a big could....) be a Wayne track I can dig. Edit: Can't tell from the song credits what particular track I can hear Guthrie on. And I doubt he's on every track. Can someone let me know which track I should check out that may have Guthrie on it so I don't need to get the album? |

This is a good song. "hes a terrible person all around" is not an objective criticism. Lil Wayne has enough god-awful verses that lead me to believe he does write good amount of his own content. |
I voted good. It's darn entertaining

I also really doubt you have ever listened to lil waynes catalogue, but felt superior for dismissing him immediately. I'm saying he is mixed artist,he's constantly being overrated and underrated. This modern age, where artists can release so much music instantly, i think that it's something that will become more common. Your going to see more artists who have to stay eclectic in order to hold peoples attention, not that this is really new, it's just happening much faster. |

Now do you get it? |
