I can't deny the possibility that I'm biased towards this album a little unfairly because of the soul-seeking nature of Silberman's voice, which has drilled to the core of my consciousness for three albums already. But the musicality is amazing and this is the most polished album studio-wise by far.
My only complaint is I wish Silberman's voice was used more. From Hospice (and also on songs such as the title track of Uprooted) he proved that he can belt out emotion at the top of his lungs better than almost anyone on the planet. I wish there was more of this on Burst Apart. |

Have listened to it a few times now have to say it probably doesnt hit the heights of Hospice, really like EVery Night My Teeth Are Falling Out and Putting The Dog To Sleep.
