They are certainly popular, but in no way radio friendly. Your not going to see a young money ft tyler the creator song or anything.

When they win best new artist over Wiz Khalifa, they are mainstream. Shouldn't matter if they're mainstream or not. They haven't changed their style up

I like how drastically my view on his music has changed over the summer. He's definitely one of my favorite artists right now.
