They aren't radio friendly but I'm pretty sure you'll see Tyler feature up with some mainstream artists in the near future.

i voted great. this was definitely a big step up from Bastard production wise, and even if some of the lyrics falter, there's definitely some memorable verses to be had on here. that, and i loved how much Tyler really bares all as well as the progression of the concept the first, especially at the end where
Spoiler for Goblin and Bastard link:
overall, i'd say this is a real grower. it might take some time for it to stick, but when it does, it's a really memorable release, especially for hip-hop. and no i wouldn't call them mainstream, not with how their rhymes and production is. and with how tight knit they are as a collective, i doubt that they'd so easily sign on to feature on songs with people they aren't already cool with.

I actually really like this album. A lot of people are complaining about how crappy the production is, but the lo-fi used sounds pretty good to me and fits his lyrics well. I thought it was okay at first, but then it grew on me. Definatley one of the best 2011 has to offer so far.

After finally listening, i consider this an overall upgrade from Bastard. While Bastard had it strengths, it felt a little repeated to me after awhile, but here i find the ideas touched on before (rape kill hate) put into fresher ways. However, there were times where Tyler should have just stopped [all the slack on Radicals, Fish got old quick, Analog, the slightly odd placement of AU79, Goblin especially didn't bring the strength of Bastard (the tracks, i mean, but Tyler is even aware of this)]. Overall though, i was thoroughly impressed and found it an upgrade from his previous release. I love that the storyline started to shine through by the middle of the album, too. My highlights would be:
Transylvania Yonkers Window She BTW: I rated great for the reasons above. Even the worst moments weren't awful, just unnecessary.
