This latest Foo Fighters album is really taking me back to the early Foo days. Finally an album without the ballad-crap!

It was good. Some songs I love, some not so much.

My favorite would have to be Bridge Burning or White Limo.

It's fantastic. I like the song as well, interestingly sounding a lot like early QOTSA.

I have grown to really like the album. I especially like it turned up to blood curdling noise level. Glad i waited to vote as first listen it would have been about a 6 but now its at a 9 for me. I'm down with the FOO always have been. Call it bland and boring I call it Rock n Roll.

well im not the biggest FF fan, but I have much respect for ghrol to be able to take his band with a grunge, punk, metal background and make a substantle foot print in mainstream rock. with the lyrical style of kurt, not much substance but a catchy hook.

I finally got around to this... solid rock, I guess, but man Grohl is the worst lyricist

I have grown rather fond of a number of tracks over the last few months, chief of which being "Walk", the final track. It's a fantastic ending track, with just the right amount of feeling in it. I agree that nothing stands out as exceptional on the album, but it is simply really, really solid, and highly enjoyable.
