For the unitiated, check out "The Wall" and "Operation" which are my two favorites tracks off the album. I'd link, but again, I can't haha. They are incredibly 90's sounding, which is why I love it. They touch on the likes of Dino Jr., Pavement, etc. and their slower songs sound very Elliott Smith influenced. Pretty cool imo.

I've heard them both, they're pretty good but I find the hooks a tad irritating.

Excellent album! One of the best debuts i've heard in recent years. While it's not one of the most original albums ever everything on it is executed so well, the songwriting is top-notch and it's such an enjoyable album to listen to. There are some obvious influences such as Dinosaur Jr, Yo La Tengo and Teenage Fanclub but rather than sound like an ironic retro 90's throwback the music kind of sounds timeless. The standout track for me (and this is a though choice as they're all fantastic) are 'Get Away', 'Operation' and 'Sunday'.

also, can I just say that fans of this album would really dig a band called The Megaphonic Thrift. they have an album recently out called Decay Decoy and it's absolutely fantastic and some of you will love it.. I'm looking at you Zero!
