I have hope for them still. how many bands have put out music as stellar for that long of a span? I can't think of any. The Bends > In Rainbows was 12 years and everything within that period was great.

contrary to popular opinion, I really think they were trying to change their music significantly with KoL. the music is more about texture and less about ebbs and flows. it manages this while retaining their one constant element throughout their career, Thom's vocals.
unfortunately for us, they didn't pull it off as well as most of their other material.
