there are only a few tracks that sound like typical Daft Punk...a majority of it sounds like regular soundtrack type music.

Arena, The Game has Changed, End of the Line, Derezzed and Fall are my favorite tracks....when I heard Fall while watching the movie that was so awesome and perfectly timed.

So... here is copy&paste, as I was directed here from the Soundtrack forum

I really couldn't get this music out of my head after seeing the movie. So, I got the soundtrack and I love it. Can't get enough.

I hope its OK to post this here (the links... not sure about the rules):

Removed link because I haven't posted enough times yet.

Favorite track: Solar Sailor Removed link because see above.

But there are plenty of other great ones, too. That one is kind of mellow. I love it. I like #3 Son of Flynn, and #17 Disc Wars

QUESTION- please don't be mean, I'm new... How would a person know that a thread already existed on a topic? I searched and nothing came up. Or is it normal to be directed to existing conversation by other board members? Just curious...

yeah the search function takes a little while to get used to but the best way to search for something is to go advanced and then you can even go as far as to look in specific sub topics if you are looking for a certain band that's part of a specific genre

I believe Daft Punk kept their creative freedom - hopefully they did for this soundtrack - If so it will be Badass

The movie was terrible and it was filled with cliches. But, the soundtrack and the special effects were great. I'm sure Daft Punk gained a bit larger of a fan base from that.

I didn't even know that Daft Punk scored the movie until after I saw it (and I didn't go by choice- it was a work party thing). I couldn't get the music out of my head and so I searched the soundtrack and then found out it was all Daft Punk and then I was completely sold.

FIXED!

The Game Has Changed randomly popped into my head the other day and I had to rush to my laptop and play the song so I could get it out of my head.

i have no real interest in hearing the actual film soundtrack, based on word of mouth

i have only the dance trax version and that's incredible - it's a leak or something

the movie looks great but the story's kinda weak - i also thought the visuals weren't as striking as the original, given the 20-year lapse with the new technology and whatnots

still, it is my fave movie of 2010
