Not a fan of Rick Ross, but I agree that verse is fantastic. That's actually my favorite track on that record.

Probably Rick Ross' best verse of all time barring "Mafia Music", either way it's not saying much. It's like all that hooplah over Nikki Minaj's "Monster" verse - yeah it was good for her, but outside of that vacuum it really doesn't stack up.

Honestly, it's funny you say that, cause it rings true. Not a fan of Nikki, but that is a pretty solid verse. Just realized though, not a fan of any features from that song, and I thought they were all great.

Yeah that's definitely one thing the album excels at, it has a very select group of features who almost function like characters (emphasis on almost) and it keeps their contributions concise - well except for the fact that I thought So Appalled was mostly extraneous despite at least a couple of great verses (Jay and Pusha for me, I can't remember if Kanye blew it on that one or naw).

Besides that silly beat, Kanye does kill it. I think we can both agree the best character of this album is Chris Rock, and maybe Justin Vernon. But certainly not John Legend.

Oh I can't hate on John Legend, as little as I like that song I do like what he does for the chorus. But I think that's his only part on the album, right? Besides maybe the huge chorus on "All of the Lights"? Justin Vernon did do some good shit on that album, I just loved all of Pusha's stuff though but I'm partial to him anyway. Rick Ross had an interesting relationship to the album, showing up for like two seconds on "Monster" then blowing through "Devil in a New Dress". I definitely didn't give half a shit about Prince the blahblahwhatever kid though, I know that for a fact.

I saw Pusha T in June, you wouldn't believe the type of crowd that came to that tent. People got injured, blood everywhere, intense mosh. It was great. I know this isn't a "Yeezus" forum but **** it I'm curious as to what you think of that record.
Edit: Nevermind, I can just go back and read the actual "Yeezus" forum ha. Big fan of Yeezus, if I say so myself. Top 3.

Oooo, im jelly. I was definitely supposed to see him at Bonnaroo this year but got their Thursday night so I'd already missed him. Was it a big hipster crowd? That seems like the type that'd be there to me, just from what I usually see of his fans (aka me), and what I hear, and especially since he started re-blowing up solo when Tyler the Creator was also making a big deal of him. Also Kanye fans at shows are uber white from what i hear. Pusha's also just a real intense dude too though so maybe that's why it was goin down like that. I really need to find a show of his around here.
Oh but yeah you can check my opinion there, it's not an album I hold in very high regard. It had some good things going on but as far as the whole discussion surrounding it is concerned I think it's utter bullshit. Especially since I think only half of the album is actually worthwhile and the rest wouldn't even be good tracks on a lesser person's album.
