Love this album. One of the very few I still listen to front to back semi-occasionally. The man's a genius. Gorgeous is probably my favorite track. Lyrics are soooo good.

Listening to it now. I just don't get it. The production is nice, but hardly mind blowing like people make out. I can't understand how it would be a 5* album to anybody as it's so forgettable to me.

^That's crazy man, NO SONG stood out to you? Not even "All of the Lights"?

I like this album because it's so damn cohesive and it encompasses a wide range of emotions. Kanye's lyricism was the best it's ever been and he got pretty personal on the record.

Agreed man, everything just intertwines so well. The guest spots all add to the songs, the production's amazing even giving All of The Lights an orchestrated intro was genius.
It's the type of record you just sit back and applaud at the end.

This is Kanye's best work. Twisted, but brilliant. It takes all the best elements of his previous work and melds them together brilliantly!

That's actually, imo, when it got way better. Production got bigger, lyrics very self-referential. I like my Kanye as pretentious as humanly possible.
