Runaway was my favorite, along with Devil in a New Dress. And it may have been the best Hip Hop of 2010 (i wasn't too in tune that year) but i think Black Up by Shabazz was a lot better.

My 2 cents on Power: The King Crimson sample is extremely well done and it fits in seamlessly with the feel of the song. And the synth solo part towards the end is very strong too. For me being a general hater of all rap this song greatly impressed me.

I felt like it was butchered, NiceGuy, but to each their own opinion. I suppose I might be blinded by hatred that I can't see it as good, but I can't get my head around it, or his usage of that sample. I've heard Aesop Rock use samples from 21st Century Schizoid Man and felt it was done much better, but he didn't end up using the vocals, just instrumentation. I dunno. Bah.

No idea why you have a hatred for Kanye to be honest. I love his music.

Hilarious that your only scrobble is the intro to Late Registration.

I think I deleted the small (less than 20) Kanye plays from my last.fm. I guess I have one more track to remove. That was before MBDTF. I previewed that album on youtube. I never got a copy.

I don't always like Kanye either but you can't argue against him being one of the most influential artists in the genre, for nearly a decade now. His flow, cadence, and production talents are constantly being imitated.
